Stroll along rue Saint-Honoré towards Châtelet-Les Halles and be sure to walk beneath its recently-constructed canopy. Next, walk up rue Montorgueil (a pedestrian street full of shops). Turn left onto rue Réaumur, then rue d'Aboukir until you reach place des Victoires. In rue de la Feuillade, walk through the Galerie Vivienne. Leave rue Vivienne and turn left towards the entrance to the gardens of the Palais Royal. Admire its arcades, its architecture and the famous Buren columns.
… To end at the Louvre and the foot of the Champs Elysées
As you leave, pass by the Comédie Française, cross the rue de Rivoli and enter grounds of the Louvre via place du Carrousel. On your left you will see the Louvre Pyramid. On your right are the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel and the Tuileries Gardens stretching away just behind. Stroll along the pathways and past its lake. Here you are at place de la Concorde.
